About Me

Over the past two decades, I have accumulated extensive experience in the field of education, working with both adults and children. My background encompasses teaching, leadership, and coaching, all of which are underpinned by a profound passion for learning and a genuine care for others.

This foundation inspired me to enhance my expertise through a certificate in Counselling, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling over a three-year period, culminating in my membership with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (B.A.C.P.).

This retraining has been transformative, granting me valuable insights into the world of counselling, for which I am sincerely thankful. I am committed to continuous professional development and actively seek opportunities to refine my skills as a counsellor.

My areas of particular interest include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory—which focuses on the nervous system—and Gestalt and Person-Centred counselling. I embrace a creative approach to my practice, employing imagery, metaphor, and movement to facilitate the expression of thoughts and feelings, whilst also fostering new avenues for exploration.
